Iraq War Veteran Walks for Peace

I heard a wonderful anti-war/peace protest story on Democracy Now! today. SGT. Marshall Thompson, and Army Reservist who spent a year in Iraq as a journalist, showed his opposition to the U.S. occupation by walking across the entire state of Utah in October of 2006. His journey took him 500 miles and 27 days to complete. He was met with some opposition along the way as well as great support for his troop withdrawal efforts. It was nice to hear another voice of dissent. You can read the article on the Democracy Now! Website. Peace.
