It’s not surprising that things have gone so horribly in Iraq. There is no oversight, no training, and obviously no conscience on the part of the Bush Administration or these corporations that are making money hand over fist at the expense of the Iraqi people. It’s a crime that these corporations are being granted these outrageous contracts at the expense of local companies that could do the work. This is obvious crony capitalism. Some of the corporations have had their contracts extended or renewed even after waste and cheating have been discovered. It’s absolutely disgusting. Peace.
